Attend, ADHD Diet, Metadate
My son is eight years old, he takes Metadate CD 20mg, which effects only lasts eight hours during the day. How long does the effects of Attend last? Is the diet you recommend absolutely necessary for Attend to work?

Thanks for writing. Attend is a nutritional product, a nutraceutical medicine with
homeopathic medicines in it. There are a total of 72 specific ingredients in the Attend
formula. It works in the body gradually and steadily when taken daily. Some people had
noticeable improvements after a week, more after two weeks, and 70-80% after 30 days.
And, like other nutritional products, continued use is necessary in the long-term. The
optimum dose per day, per person, is really unknown. Our study had everyone take four
capsules per day.
The diet is not necessary for the Attend to work - but it really helps some people so it
is really worth trying. In fact, unless there are unusual circumstances, it should be
tried for three to four weeks. It is important to (1) rule out food allergies, as best as
we can, as a possible cause for the behaviors and symptoms, and (2) it is very important
that we feed the brain correctly to get optimal performance from the brain if the problem
is actually ADHD. The world's strongest medications, let alone Attend, are hardly a match
for an ADHD kid eating junk (junk is defined as sugars paired with carbohydrates in a
food).
